At IAA Transportation 2026, Sortimo is presenting its EcoSystem – a fully integrated mobility solution in which all components work together seamlessly. The message is clear: if you want maximum productivity, you don’t buy individual products; instead, you configure a bespoke solution. In Hanover, Sortimo will demonstrate how this works in practice across different vehicles, sectors and configuration levels.
The mobile workplace has long since ceased to be merely a means of transport. For service technicians, tradespeople and fleet managers, the commercial vehicle is either the most productive tool in their day-to-day work – or the most costly obstacle. What makes the difference is not the vehicle itself, but the system behind it. Sortimo has systematically developed this system: the EcoSystem combines vehicle fittings, load securing, transport solutions and intelligent control into a comprehensive solution that can be individually configured for every sector and every application.
SR5 Pro and SR5 Max: Maximum productivity, customised to your needs
At the heart of the EcoSystem lies the new generation of vehicle racking systems: the SR5 Pro and SR5 Max. Both series feature a hybrid construction with anodised aluminium fronts — lighter than their predecessors, more robust in continuous use, and designed to withstand multiple vehicle cycles. The SR5 Pro, as an open shelving system, maximises the available loading space. The SR5 Max, as a closed system, creates maximum storage space without taking up floor space for the first time, thanks to its suspended SR-BOXXes. Both are fully compatible and form part of the same system.
SRS: Investment protection and Total Cost of Mobility
The Sortimo Rail System (SRS) forms the infrastructure of the EcoSystem. It secures the load whilst also serving as the basis for tool-free, removable vehicle fittings that can be transferred in full when changing vehicles. The SRS is available as a factory option, ‘SRS Inside’, for all Citroën, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot models. Ford, Renault and MAN will be added in future. The investment in the vehicle fittings is therefore retained regardless of the vehicle’s lifespan – a direct influence on the Total Cost of Mobility.
SCS — Sortimo Control System: Work Smarter
With the Sortimo Control System (SCS), Sortimo brings intelligent load space management to the mobile workplace. Under the slogan ‘Work smarter’, SCS provides transparency regarding stock levels, access and processes within the vehicle. As part of a collaboration with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Smart Spaces is an integrated system that, for the first time, treats the vehicle and its fittings as a single, shared platform. Sortimo and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will jointly present the project at IAA Transportation 2026.
Sortimo BOXXen: The complete transport and organisation system
The new Sortimo BOXXen system is the mobile backbone of the EcoSystem — removable, transferable, compatible. The new SortimoBOXX complements the system with a particularly compact variant featuring a drawer unit and full-extension drawers: taking organisation on the building site and at the job site to a whole new level. The system comprises transport aids, the Caddy and the Lift, and is fully compatible with the Bosch L-BOXX. Sortimo is building on this compatibility and consistently developing the system further: as a standalone, complete product range for professional mobile use.
Innovation Van: The mobile workplace of the future
As a comprehensive demonstration of the EcoSystem, Sortimo is showcasing the Innovation Van at the IAA, which brings together all the components of the EcoSystem in a real-life usage scenario. This is not a concept vehicle, but a fully functional glimpse of what tomorrow’s mobile workplace will look like.

Sortimo at IAA Transportation 2026
Under the guiding principle of “Intelligent Mobility”, Sortimo will be presenting the Sortimo EcoSystem in various vehicles and configuration levels at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover. The trade fair will take place from 15 to 20 September 2026. Sortimo will be in Hall 13, Stand C80.
