At IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018 Sortimo are presenting two studies with which the company is taking a further decisive step towards the mobility of the future. The logistics value-added chain can be expanded to the maximum with the optimised work processes enabled by the innovative sContainer, because as a mobile depot, it is perfect for the daily workday on changing building sites. The four-wheel ProCargo CQ1 is absolutely environmentally friendly thanks to its zero emissions. Experience Sortimo's Green Technology for the blue Planet live from 20. to 27. ProCargo CQ1
After the sensational launch of the innovative cargo cycle ProCargo CT1 two years ago, Sortimo International are taking a further giant step in the direction of mobility for the future, at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018 with the presentation of two studies. The environmentally friendly ProCargo CQ1 serves to fill the gap between cargo cycle and Mini-Van and with its top speed of 45 km/h is the ideal transport solution for the so-called last mile. Thanks to its eDrive, the ProCargo CQ1 is resource friendly and saves costs for the company, because it uses no fuel and requires no motor-vehicle tax and is not subject to environmental classification. The available loading space is large enough for the transport of euro-pallets or Sortimo's sContainers, which can be fixed on the light vehicle. Thanks to the mounted weather protection hood, the ProCargo CQ1 can be used without problems on bad-weather days too.
sContainer
The sContainer is the ideal space saving companion on the building site and in the future it will be possible to equip it individually with tools, machines and consumables via mySortimo and it will be possible to rent it with flexible rental periods. Depending on implementation purpose and period the customers will have flexible modules and varying heights (Height 1: 1,600-1,750 mm; Height 2: ca. 2,000 mm) of sContainers to select from.
On the operation site, the Container provides a variety of application possibilities for storage and safekeeping of materials and tools using minimal floor space, and it also protects the stored tools from bad weather and theft. The dimensions are those of a euro-pallet meaning it is easily transported using forklift trucks or the ProCargo CQ1. Furthermore, it can be positioned in any environment thanks to the minimal space requirement. Fitters, plumbers and building service technicians as well as lots of other tradesmen, particularly in urban areas, can benefit from the rental container, in that the required materials are already on-site and ready for implementation. Tradesmen and service providers can save on delivery vans with this concept and can transport the sContainer flexibly with small vehicles like for example the ProCargo CQ1, to the operation site, which represents a great time benefit in urban areas, particularly with regard to searching for a parking space.
The sContainer has been developed by Sortimo especially as a rental model and is the ideal mobile workshop for trades who are active for at least two to three days on a building site resp. an operation site. The durable materials used, like powder coated sheet steel and plastic ensure long lasting and weather-proof (outdoor) operation of the Container. The large external surfaces can moreover be adhered with attention grabbing advertising decals, individually designed on mySortimo.
The sContainer presented at the IAA Commercial Vehicles has been equipped with an SR5 shelf system as well as a WorkMo Module. The service depot provides craftsmen and labourers with a multitude of possibilities for storing and safekeeping of tools, machines and consumables, in drawers, SR- and L-BOXXes.
ProCargo CT1
The world premiere of the ProCargo CT1 at the IAA 2016 was proof that Sortimo can produce more than just van racking solutions. This year Sortimo presents the innovative cargo cycle with electromotor in an ideal solution for service and maintenance operations within the plant, because the loading area of the cargo cycle has been adapted to the dimensions of Sortimo WorkMo. The WorkMo as mobile workstation and workshop wagon is a mobile helper for every operation. The combination of cargo cycle, mobile workstation and integrated load securing therefore provides a practical complete package for each service and maintenance job in the plant.
