Volkswagen Crafter Commercial Vehicle – conversion for the HVAC industry

The conversion of Volkswagen's Crafter Commercial Vehicle is based on an SR5 van racking system, which has been adapted to be branch specific for the HVAC industry. The trade’s special requirements for their service vehicles have been taken into particular account. The SR5 van racking equipment enables plumbing, heating and air-conditioning companies to achieve secure and organised stowage of their transport goods as well as immediate access to them with drawers, SR- and L-BOXXes as well as SR-Slides. Even pressurised gas cylinders can be lashed directly to the SR5 aluminium side profile through holders with belts and ratchet turn buckle belt, meaning they are immediately to hand. The foldable workbench with vice enables mobile adjustments of materials at the site of operation. The workbench is directly integrated in the SR5 standard shelf, whereby the otherwise extra requirement of an aluminium upstand is omitted.

Volkswagen's Crafter Commercial Vehicle will additionally be equipped with a universal side panel table. This can be mounted entirely according to individual requirements via all ProSafe points in the vehicle and, with a load capacity of up to 50 kg, is ideally suited as a workplace in the vehicle.

Sortimo demonstrates the full compatibility of the Sortimo EcoSystem in the Crafter with the integration of complementary products from its partners, which transcend system boundaries. For example one of the Hilti cases is integrated in the SR5 van racking system via plastic slides, which is a great benefit for every tradesman and

service technician and thanks to the perfectly harmonised mobility solutions, represents the highest degree of efficiency as well as the maximum in productivity in the day-to-day work routine.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter – conversion for the electronics branch

SR5 is thought out through to the final detail. The organisation system, which provides maximum productivity and workplace organisation in the tightest of spaces, is the ideal daily companion for the electronics branch. Thanks to their positioning possibilities both above and below the standard shelf, the numerous integrated SR-BOXXes enable optimal exploitation of space in the vehicle and provides at the same time sufficient space for structured and overview-able transport of small components and consumable materials. The lid of the removable SR-BOXXes protects the contents from dust and dirt, both in the vehicle and on the building site. The SR-Slides, which are a cost effective alternative to drawers, provide a multitude of possibilities for organisation and structuring the contents thanks to the integrable dividers and Insetboxes.

The rotary block which is integrated in the SR5 equipment, mounted at a 90° angle to the van racking equipment and equipped with three drawers, is particularly practical as it allows direct access to the drawer contents through the side slide door. The SR5 drawers can also accommodate heavy machines and tools, with a loading capacity of up to 90 Kilograms. Furthermore, the outer profiles of the SR5 equipment are furnished with the innovative ProTech power rail system which enables power supply directly into the SR5 via an existing power supply. Lights, inspection lamps and auxiliary consumers can thereby be individually positioned in diverse spots around the vehicle interior.

Electricians and service technicians are guaranteed the highest levels of productivity and an optimisation of their work processes by the SR5 van racking solution because it provides the maximum of organisation and structure through labelling possibilities via mySortimo labels, tool inlays as well as a consistent systemisation of the transported materials via the integrated Sortimo BOXXes and shelves. The intelligent shelving system is configurable online to meet branch specific and individual requirements on mySortimo and then it can be directly ordered.

Ford Transit Custom – conversion for the woodworking branch

Carpenters and joiners receive a branch specific equipment solution with the woodworking solution in the Ford Transit Custom, which leaves nothing to be desired. The intelligent SR5 shelving system provides diverse possibilities for the secure and organised stowage of materials and small components in the LCV through a multitude of shelves and SR-BOXXes in various sizes. The two WorkMos, including perforated worktable on the dividing wall enable mobile working directly in the vehicle or at the place of operation and simultaneously exploits the loading area in the Ford Transit Custom optimally. The installed XL-drawers Jumbo-Unit in the Ford Transit Custom in the new 2 and 2.5 widths exploit the full depth of the vehicle and thereby provide maximum stowage area for large and heavy loads of up to 100 kg. The XL-drawers can be installed both horizontally as well as vertically in the vehicle and enable ideal access to the materials via the extremely strong telescopic slides. The Jumbo-Units are covered by the Sortimo SoboPro floor and can thereby be flexibly combined with the WorkMo modules, which are to be found above.

The online configurator mySortimo graphics is the ideal possibility to upgrade the company vehicle to a promotionally effective instrument with a professional and individually designed vehicle decal. The decals on the exhibition vehicles with Sortimo inside which are to be seen at the IAA, were all created on mySortimo graphics.

Renault Trafic – conversion for Facility Management

mySortimo is the central contact point for all comprehensive solutions concerning the mobile workplace for tradesmen. Sortimo's new online platform is not only the place where the SR5 van racking solutions can be individually configured and directly ordered, but also the place where further products and services from Sortimo can be found for branch specific optimisation, around the clock. mySortimo contains 24/7 Full-Service concepts for every trade to acquire a highly efficient mobile working environment. Sortimo presents a Renault Trafic at the IAA Commercial Vehicles, which has been converted with the SR5 shelving system that provides lots of stowage space for tools and work materials in the area of Facility Management. The flexible TopSystem crossbeams are the ideal aid to space saving and safe transport of ladders or long bulky items. The TopSystem provides additional stowage space on the roof of the vehicle and also saves valuable time thanks to its easy operation. The new side ladder lift hereby enables time saving and ergonomic loading and unloading of ladders weighing up to 35 kg. Hereby ladders can be quickly and simply conveyed on to the roof of the vehicle. Thanks to the side access to the ladder, there is no extra loading and unloading room needed behind the vehicle, which is of particular benefit in urban areas. Just a few hand movements are required to adjust the side ladder lift for other ladder sizes and mistakes in load securing are avoided thanks to the intuitive operation.

The new Sortimo floor SoboPro Restraint Pole which is integrated in the Renault Trafic, is especially for load securing and extends the load securing in a way that adds value. The possibility of installing Sortimo restraint poles creates extended opportunities for load securing and the load can be secured in the manner of a form fit. When using restraint poles, the SoboPro Restraint Pole is recommended, where the arrangement of lashing points is optimised for the poles. The universally applicable restraint poles can be used both horizontally and vertically for securing loads depending on the position of the attachment points. They offer an optimal hold due to their square contours. Using traverse frames, restraint poles can be used horizontally between two SR5 shelves.

Opel Combo – conversion for Service technicians

Service technicians will find everything that the tradesman desires in the Opel Combo. Small components and consumable materials are stowed in an organised fashion in the worldwide unique SR-BOXXes. These are mounted both under and above the standard shelf whereby the available space is exploited to the maximum. Moreover the slim aluminium side profiles of the SR5 van racking solution as well as the flexibly position-able standard shelves of the shelving system in the Opel Combo, make it a real space miracle and allows the maximum exploitation of the loading area on the vehicle floor. Thereby large transport goods, like euro pallets for example, can be conveyed in the vehicle without problems. The SoboPro assembly and load-securing floor enables the simple and flexible securing of the load on the vehicle floor via the integrated universal lashing points.

Just like in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, a 180° degree rotary block is mounted on the sliding door of the Opel Combo that enables the direct and therefore time-saving access from to the contained tools and consumable materials from outside.

Moreover, Sortimo is also represented on the stands of the leading Commercial Vehicle producers and presents its equipment and mobility solutions in numerous LCVs.
